Make these Amazing Mint Brownie Energy Bites
Dates
Dates are a perfect whole-food snack. They are high in fiber which helps with digestion and satiation. They are rich in essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants like potassium, magnesium, calcium, copper, iron, and vitamin B6. They are a natural source of energizing carbohydrates to provide an instant energy boost.
These energy bites are not only a healthier option, but an energizing one too!
And they are a perfect whole-food sweetener!
Cacao Powder
Rich, velvety cacao powder also boosts nutritional benefits. It’s a great source of magnesium and antioxidants. We like to use the Foods Alive Cacao Powder in our chocolatey recipes because it is minimally processed an unsweetened.
Paired with the dates in this recipe provides a sweet and dark chocolatey flavor.
We roll the energy bites in a bit of extra cacao powder for a beautiful truffle-like finish.

Nut-Free, Seed-Free
Many of these energy balls or energy bites contain nuts or seeds, so we wanted to create one that was nut and seed free. And this tasty and easy recipe does not disappoint. And if you don’t love mint, sub vanilla extract!
