As a busy plant-based eater, sometimes I don’t have time to prep my foods and make a tasty meal; that is where Daily Harvest comes in; their foods arrive frozen and ready to heat or blend and eat.

Daily Harvest, they are Frozen, so how do they taste? 

I’ve tried items from every collection, even the ones with a bit more fat than I habitually eat, and I have to say, I’ve yet to find one that wasn’t delicious. 

The foods are flavorful and taste fresh, and I love that I can get fresh vegetable and fruit servings out of the freezer quickly. The freezing definitely does not compromise flavor or texture! 

As a vegan and plant-based eater, these meals make it easy to eat more plants. 

Daily Harvest as a High-Carb, Low-Fat Eater

 I’m conscious of my Macros, and my day-to-day habits are high starch/carbohydrate meals and lower fat, so I often pair the daily harvest food with a large salad or serve it (soups) over rice or potato to meet my macro goals. 

Eating a low percentage of overt fat each day is essential to me. I read labels and check nutrition fact information. Below are the items in each food collection that fall under 10 g of fat per serving.

All 3 pops make a great sugar-free and fruity snack. I’ve also added them to a homemade smoothie for a pop of flavor.


Unfortunately, none of the flatbreads contain less than 10g of fat per serving. But they are tasty. This could be a great alternative to take-out pizza in a pinch.


All of the bites fall under 10 g of fat per serving, but one bite is one serving. Since these are made with some high-fat ingredients, be cautious; they are very addictive and craveable because they are SO incredibly tasty! 

How does Daily Harvest Work?
