UnFried Pickle Spears

UnFried Pickles

FRIED PICKLES?!

“Yes, Please!  Well, actually can we bake them and still retain that delicious flavor and texture?”  “Let’s try it!”  We were recipe-developing a breaded spicy sandwich patty and had some extra breading left, and John said, “we could make fried pickles?”  Well, you don’t have to ask me twice.

I whipped out that pickle jar and had the pickles sliced into chips before he could even turn back around.  To which he replied, “oh, I want them in spears.”  Out came the pickle jar and another pair of pickles were cut into spears.  Perfect! We could test them both ways and share our UnFried Pickles with you!

It worked!

Well, we developed an amazingly delicious recipe for pickles in the shapes of chips and spears, and either way we sliced ’em they turned out fantastic!  They were super easy too!  So grab some pickles and let’s get frying, er baking!  Oh, and be sure to let us if you are a chip or a spear UnFried Pickle eater.
